Sherry C. Cameron, Esq.

Attorney Sherry C. Cameron focuses her practice primarily in the zealous advocacy of immigration and criminal defense clients in state and federal courts. From cancellation of removal to reunification of child-to-parent cases, Attorney Cameron passionately fights for the rights, interests and goals of the client. Ms. Cameron believes it is of the utmost importance that each client comprehends every phase of his or her case, and it is with that in mind that Ms. Cameron attentively addresses each case. As a solo practitioner, she affords the client quality time to convene, confer and stay knowledgeable of their case status.

Barred in New York, Florida and the District of Columbia, Attorney Cameron has appeared in hundreds of cases. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the Florida State University College of Law in 1999 where she attended Oxford University's legal studies abroad program in Oxford, England. Soon she joined the Office of the State Attorney in  Florida's Seventeenth Judicial Circuit as a prosecutor. Ms. Cameron gained extensive trial experience during these seven years as an Assistant State Attorney in litigating, negotiating, and resolving numerous misdemeanor and felony level crimes, including in the special units of Juvenile and Domestic Violence.

She relocated to New York and started her own practice in 2008, believing she could be more effective in helping people deal with challenging legal dilemmas. In 2011, Ms. Cameron founded THE CAMERON FIRM, LLC. THE CAMERON FIRM has allowed Attorney Cameron to fully realize her passion for assisting people at multiple levels of legal protection under the law.

She is a member of Bronx Bethany Church of the Nazarene and enjoys mentoring high school students, college students and young adults in their pursuit of successfully entering various careers. She also mentors recently admitted attorneys.
